Past events
Groovy 70s Night - What can i say.... 200+ people all dressed up in their bright 70s gear, strutting their stuff on the carpet... Because the dancefloor was full! Yet another great night. Book up early for next years as this one sold out a month in advance.
Sound Of Music Night 2007 - We had the hills, plenty of nuns and lots of other fun fancy dress. "Wooping" at 'Maria' and "Barking" at 'Rolf' along with all the singing. We also managed to raise some money for 'Parkinson's Disease'. Look out for 'Grease is the word', a possible event for next year!
St Patrick's Day 2007 - The Hambledon Hopstep did a great job at getting the party started and kept the masses entertained right until the end. They did so well we are asking them back next year (Provisionally Friday 15th March 2008) We also raised £300 for Comic Relief. (no pictire of the night yet but if anyone has any they can email them to events@theolivebowl.co.uk and i will add.)
French Night 2007 - Julie Dunn did a brilliant job playing some lovely jazz while the guests sampled frogs leggs and snails. The raffle held that night managed to raise £115 for Cancer Research UK. (no pictire of the night yet but if anyone has any they can email them to events@theolivebowl.co.uk and i will add.)
Turkish Night 2006 - The Turkish Dancers put on a great show and we had plenty of comments on how good they were. We managed to raise £155 for Cancer Research UK and £50 for the Air Ambulance. (check out the gallery below)
Spanish Night 2006 - Our beautiful Spanish Dancers did some fantastic numbers while our guests eat some yummy spanish food. All in all a great night and our first sellout. look out for next years spanish night around September 14th 2007. (check out the gallery below)
